A Fabulous Fall Fashion Evening at Vince

When I think of Fall two things come to mind: more leather looks, layers, layers and more LAYERS!

Vince released their Fall collection featuring timeless plaids, stylish leather jackets and gorgeous suede! Loving this new collection!

I had so much fun planning the Fall Communiqué with Fashion Group International DC to commence Vince’s Fall collection at Vince City Center. It was such a fabulous evening with champagne and delicious bites while models showcased the season’s newest styles. (Keep scrolling for my faves!)

It was a full circle moment from my years at Nordstrom. I was selected to attend the brand introduction meeting with the Creative Directors and Vince team from LA. I loved having a first look at Vince’s newest collections, and fell in love with their design and luxurious fabrics.

The best part of the night was styling my client friend of 15 years! I met Maureen during my styling days at Nordstrom. She wanted to come in for her birthday (she refers to it as "National Maureen Neff Day"), which fell on a day I didn’t typically work on but a birthday is a HUGE day so I couldn’t say no.

We had so much fun spending hours in the dressing room having good conversations, laughing and styling. She left with several bags and I felt so fulfilled knowing I met this AMAZING lady and styled her for her special day. I continued styling her throughout her high-profile career. She needed tailored, polished and chic pieces and mostly suiting at the time.

Maureen always showed up to every appointment as she called her "weekend uniform" which was a crisp white cotton shirt and a khaki bottom. This time embracing the event in all Vince attire!

Maureen has now retired and mainly focuses on church clothing, events and traveling the world with her husband, “Mr. Wonderful”!

She’s such a rockstar! We’ve been enjoying this new chapter of boutique shopping too. And 15 years later I’ll be celebrating another “National Maureen Neff Day” with her on September 8th!

Vince also had a raffle for their cashmere pillow & throw set and she won!
